Birdhouse Bonanza Live Auction July 24th at Lincoln Street
Lincoln Street Center is proud to partner with Rockland Kiwanis this summer to raise funds for children's programs. 64 birdhouses made by artists Eric Hopkins, Otty Merrill, Maggi Blue, Mike DeSimio (pictured above) built and decorated original birdhouses for sale this Saturday. BiddingForGood.com hosted the online auction (closes at midnight July 20th) prior to a Live Auction of artist's works scheduled for July 24 in the Jean B. Chalmers Gallery, upstairs at Lincoln Street Center, with auctioneer Bruce Gamage presiding.
Artists and Craftspersons have created a huge variety of birdhouses, made of wood, glass, natural materials, paint, metal fabrications, all for sale to benefit children. The proceeds will be divided between Kiwanis and Lincoln Street Center. Each organization is dedicated to making the lives of kids better, 100% of the funds raised will be set aside for kids programming. Pieces are on display at 313 Main St., Rockland through the 21st for previewing.
Live Auction is free 6-9 on Saturday, preview from 6-7. Auction begins at 7pm. Open to the Public, lite refreshments will be provided. Birdhouses start at $25!
