I paint watercolors of midcoast Maine - coastal scenes of the harbors and fishing villages around Rockland, Maine, where I live - places like Owls Head Light, Rockland Breakwater, and Marshall Point Light, Pemaquid, and Boothbay Harbor area lighthouses. Views of lobster boats in Spruce Head, Port Clyde, Cushing and Friendship. And of course the Belted Galloway herd in Rockport. I reproduce my Maine watercolors as prints and in themed collections of notecards and art cards.

Summer Drawing and Painting Art Workshops on Maine Themes
Join me in my studio for drawing and watercolor workshops on painting Maine lighthouses, lupine, belted galloways, lobsterboats and more. The most requested is "How to Draw & Paint a Maine Lighthouse - Marshall Point Light", which I offer weekly from May to October.
Weekly Art Classes
I also hold weekly adult and children's watercolor classes and occasional art workshops. Classes are in my studio, at Lincoln Street Center, Rockland, Maine. At LSC you will also find other classes such as life drawing and yoga.
Let's Draw Together! free ongoing children's drawing workshops at Rockland Public Library. Every week is a different theme. Children follow along as I demonstrate. We draw lots of animals.
