Simple postures focus on alignment and the coordination of breath and movement. Slow, gentle stretching and strengthening will be practiced, with the development of focus, balance, attention, breathing techniques and relaxation. Kripalu Yoga has something for everyone because it works on so many levels. Many people come to it for the physical benefits of increased strength and flexibility, and then also find ways to calm, focus and energize their body-mind. I call my classes ‘SIMPLYOGA’ because the essence of Yoga is not to achieve perfect or complicated postures, but to accept and honor your unique self by exploring your limits with respect and compassion. COST: Drop-ins $12, discounted by the session. REGISTRATION: Please call or email to register and for current session information.
