Drum Lessons with John Keyser

Mon. by appt.
Lifelong drummer John Keyser offers private beginner and intermediate level lessons for drums.
Entry-level snare drum rudiments and sight reading.  
$10 per 30 minute lesson
Materials for the course: Sticks, practice pad.

Intermediate lesson:
How to approach practice time, equipment set, and tools necessary to  play along with CDs, MP3s, and computer-based loop programs. Dissecting beats and fills, and their placement in songs. How to develop grooves. Exploration of rock, pop, and alternation styles ( some entry level jazz, too ).
$20 per 40 minute lesson

Materials for the course: Sticks, own drum set ( at home ) and other materials to be discussed.
