After an offering as an official selection at the Utopia Film Festival and successful runs in cities from Philadelphia to Washington DC Nevelson: Awareness in the Fourth Dimension returns to Rockland.

The documentary exacmines Louise Nevelson the artists, and her work, using moving, intimate images of her in the process of creating her art-and her persona-along with an eye-opening look at the work itself. Through the artist's own words, as well as those of individuals who knew her intimately, the viewer is allowed a fresh look at the groun-breaking art - and thought - which helped to redefine sculpture in the twentieth century.

On hand will be filmmaker Dale Schierholt and Maria Nevelson to answer questions about the film and the artist. The screening will be free and open to the public.
